Active participation on “Logistics Solutions for Export-led Economic growth of Ethiopia” conference on November 2019. It was organized by GIZ Special Initiative Jobs (SI jobs) program on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) implemented by Gesellschaft für international Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) in partnership with the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), Ethiopian Maritime Affairs Authority (EMAA), Ethiopian Logistics Community of Practice (ELCoP) and the Ethiopian Freight Forwarders & Shipping Agents Association (EFFSAA).

ELCoP has been an integral part in organizing this event. The conference has been a success as it helped identify international best practices and innovative solutions for the design of Ethiopia’s logistics sector taking as a basis the structure and critical challenges of the sector.

This solution-driven conference has addressed persistent bottle-necks in the Ethiopian logistics sector by identifying concrete solutions, ways of improving Ethiopia’s ease-of-doing business and economic and environmental sustainability in the development of the logistics sector.
